What is Oquendo Center?

At its core, Oquendo Center is a facility designed for veterinary professionals to share, communicate, teach and learn. It enables hands-on, state of the art medical continuing education and training.

Originally built to support the Western Veterinary Conference annual meeting of over 14,000 professionals, Oquendo Center has become a year-round resource for the medical community at large. It has inherited the WVC’s tradition of excellence and innovation in veterinary training, originally set forth in 1928.

Its vision is a powerful one: To enable continuing medical education for all fields, thereby expanding the knowledge and experience of all medical professionals alike—those who unselfishly devote themselves to the ongoing care of ourselves and our loved ones.

This incomparable venue houses over 1.5 acres of state-of-the-art spaces devoted to practical, clinical lab, and knowledge-based learning, making Oquendo Center one of the only facilities of its kind in the country.
